SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed in regards to the significant amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher amount more info of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area regularly.
